Stella M. Brock, 74, of Daytona Beach Shores, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013. A Visitation will be held at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. on Monday, September 16, 2013. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.
Stella was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 21, 1938. She worked for Warren Consolidated Schools for eight years and General Motors in Warren Michigan for nine. Stella and her husband relocated to Daytona Beach in 1988 from Warren, Michigan, following their retirement. Stella was an active member of Harbor Baptist Church in Ormond Beach. She enjoyed entertaining, walking on the beach, reading, crossword puzzles, cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sophia (Smith), and John J. Hatton, and a brother Joseph Hatton.
Those left to cherish her memory are: husband, John B. Brock, Jr.; son, John P. (Ruth) Brock; daughter, Debbie (Drake) Bergeson; grandchildren, Rachael, James, Aaron, Carolyn, and Jared. She also leaves behind many extended family members and close friends.
