Brandon Lee Nelson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, formerly of Morley, Michigan, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2013. He was born September 17, 1980 in Big Rapids, Michigan, the son of Donald and Tammy (Wilson) Nelson. Brandon worked at Federal screw for the last six months as well as working with his father as a builder. He loved fast cars, jet skis, and dirt bikes but most of all, he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Surviving are his mother, Tammy Wilson of Cedar Springs; his father and step-mother, Donald and Sharon Nelson of Morley; one sister, Karla (Stephen) Fuqua of Florida; one brother, Aaron Burton of Cedar Springs; two step-brothers, Rick (Christy) Willison of Morley, Jim (Nikky) Willison of Wolverine; one step-sister, Amanda (Charles) Brummler of Stanwood; his grandmother, Louise Nelson of Morley; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Heckman Funeral Home with Pastor Ron White officiating with burial in the Aetna Cemetery. Visitation will take place today (Monday) from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and prior to services on Tuesday.
