Hilton was a native of Cora, a retired meat cutter, a veteran of World War II, a member of the Church of Christ, and a former resident of Winnfield.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Hilton of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Sherry Fryar of Pollock; one brother, Alfred Hilton of Pitkin, and seven grandchildren.
Services were held in the chapel of Southern, Winnfield with the Rev. Alvie Anyan officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories, Winnfield.
