Alice Eugenia "Jean" Barton McCaskill, of Summerville, SC, passed away September 14, 2013.
Mrs. McCaskill was born on August 22, 1934 in Fort Lawn, SC, a daughter of William Barton and Inez Denton Barton.
She was a homemaker and member of Old Fort Baptist Church and the center of a family that loves her dearly.
Survivors include her children, Sandra J. Metz (Michael) of Summerville, Tony Jenkins of Summerville and Phillip McCaskill (Lorraine) of Belfast, Northern Ireland; two sisters, Carolyn Thomas, of Lancaster, SC, Sue Hodapp (Rick) of Rock Hill, SC; one brother, Michael McCaskill (Susie) of Murrells Inlet, SC; two grandchildren, Leslie Dillon (Nicholas), Paul Metz; one great-grandchild; niece, Susan Parsons; two nephews, Greg Clarke, Brannon McCaskill; a great-niece and brother-in-law Gordon McCaskill and the sorrowing extended family.
Alice was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Oscar Hudson McCaskill, Jr.
Funeral services will be held, September 18, 2013, at 11 o'clock at Old Fort Baptist Church, Summerville, SC. Entombment will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home September 17th from 6-8 o'clock.
