LITWALTON, VA., Dec. 2 --A funeral service for John Thomas Taft, 69, husband of Mrs. Daisy Jane [Pitman] Taft, who died Tuesday at his home, will be held in Bethel Methodist Church, Livery, at 3 P.M. Thursday, with burial in the church cemetery. The funeral cortege will leave Jones Funeral Home at 2:15 P.M. Survivors, besides his wife, are four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Dilday, of Norfolk; Mrs. Richard Harding, of Wicomico Church, and Mrs. Cleveland Lewis and Mrs. Henry Coates, Jr., of Ottoman; two sons, Oldham Taft, of Lit-Walton; four sisters, Mrs. Corrie Doggett, of Nuttsville; Mrs. Maggie Savin, of Washington; Mrs. Bessie Keyser of Millenbeck and Mrs. Allen Pittman of Nuttsville; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
