"Rev. Joseph Granville, was born in Effingham, NH, Jan. 6, 1816. His parents were Stephen and Anna (Huckins) Granville. Converted at the age of nineteen, he was licensed to preach May 26, 1863, and was ordained by the New Durham Quarterly Meeting (QM) Jan. 11, 1865. He has been pastor of the Second Tamworth and First Strafford churches, NH; at East Hebron and Edgecomb, ME; Harmony, Nova Scotia; Wilmot Flats and North Weare, NH; West Charleston, VT; Brownfield, ME, and Tremont, NH. He has baptized eight-eight converts. He has now retired, and resides at Tremont, N.H.
On Jan. 2, 1838, he married Miss Abigail F. Allard, and they have one child living.[1889]"
