Covington-Herlinde"Linda"Anna Shoffner,78,of Covington,passed away Sunday,July 31,2995,at the Upper Valley Med Center.Linda was born in Grunlas,Cxechoslovakis Jan.28,1927,to 1he late Paul and Fredericke"Frieda"(Lochschmidt)Roemer.
She retired with 27 years of Service from Deckers,Piqua,and Also worked at theCoachlight Dress Shop in Covington.
She was preceded in Death by her parents,a Son ,Larry D.Shoffner in 1969,grandson Chad L M Adams in 2004;and a brother,Rudolph Rolf Roemer.Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years,Donald L.Shoffner,Daughter,Barbara A.Adams of Sidney;Granddaughter,Jodi L.Shelby of Piquathree great-granddaughters Keelin Shelby and Zoey McGaughlin of Piqua andKelsey Adams ot Texas;two sisters-in-law,Maria Roemer of Germany and Marilyn Shoffner of Bradford;and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conduted at 10:30 a.m.Wednesday at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Home,Covington.Interment will be in Miami Memorial Park Cemetery,Covington.
The family will receve friends frm 5-8 p.m.Tuesday at the funeral home.If desired,contributions mat be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
