Aaron Lowrey, BEAUMONT, Texas -- Aaron Lowrey, 90, of Beaumont and formerly of Geraldine, Ala., died Monday at a Beaumont hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Rainsville Funeral Home in Rainsville, Ala., with the Rev. Ralph Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Lowrey, a native of Geraldine, built and operated the Geraldine Theater for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Lowrey; two daughters, Mildred Lowrey of Beaumont and Billie Hoffer of Mansfield, Ohio; a son, C.D. Lowrey of Blountsville; three sisters, Ruth Garrett and Maude Lowrey, both of Albertville, and Evie Lackey of Douglas; two brothers, C.C. Lowrey of Geraldine and Lester Lowrey of Crossville; and seven grandsons.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
