Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Grace United Methodist Church, La Salle. The Rev. Jennifer Wilson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
Memorial visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley.
She was born Nov. 16, 1949, in Evanston to Richard and Beverly Ann (Gustafson) Hobbs. She married Edward Templeton on June 3, 1995, in La Salle.
She worked in the dietary department at St.Margarets Hospital, Spring Valley.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, La Salle; Spring Creek Golf Course the ladies league at Spring Creek; and Illinois Valley Super Bowl Friday Night Mixed Kings and Queens League.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Dante (Debra) Simone of Streator and Richard (Amy) Simone of La Salle; five stepchildren, Kimberly Templeton, Gregory Templeton, Deborah (Dennis) Wetzel, Janice Templeton and Jeffrey Templeton; six grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; her father, Richard Hobbs of Spring Valley; two brothers, Richard (Paula) Hobbs of Lakewood, Colo., and Tim (Diane) Hobbs of Plano, Texas; and one sister, Sandra (Ron) Kanfer of Great Falls, Va.
She was preceded in death by her mother, one grandson and one brother.
