Tracy was born in Boone on May 12, 1962, the son of Glen ‘Buzz' and Janice (Ward) Lee. He graduated from Boone High School in 1980. On June 28, 1988, he married Diane ‘Tracy' Hines in Boone. The couple later divorced. Tracy and Juanita Henry have been together as a couple since August of 1999. Tracy worked as a brick mason and worked for several local masonry contractors. He presently was a supervisor for D & J's Tree Service in Boone. Tracy was also a farmer and loved raising and selling hogs on his acreage. He also raised sheep, chickens, ducks, and geese. He enjoyed the outdoors, going on hikes, mushroom hunting, and fishing in the river. Tracy was a member of the Boone Hunt & Fish Club, the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, and he enjoyed his golf membership at Don Williams. In earlier years, Tracy enjoyed riding motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents. Tracy is survived by his wife Juanita Henry of Dayton; his sons and daughters, Mackenzie Lee of Gowrie, Trevor Lee of Dayton, Samantha Lee of Boone, David Henry and Lucas Henry both of Dayton, Jennifer Vermillion and husband Keith of Boone, and Samantha Gleason and husband Corey of Ft. Dodge; his parents Janice and Glen ‘Buzz' Lee of Boxholm; two grandchildren Keaton Lee of Boone and Cordilea Gleason of Ft. Dodge; a brother Chris Lee and wife Wanda and their son John, all of Boone; his former wife Diane Lee Stevens of Lanyon. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
