Amelia "Millie" Harris, 97, of Columbia passed away Monday, June 11, 2007, at The Bluffs.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Memorial Funeral Home, with the Rev. Molly Moore officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of the service Friday.
Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Millie was born on Aug. 28, 1909, in Walsall Staffordshire, England, the daughter of George Edward and Annie Marie Pritchard Harris.
She came from England with her parents in 1911 and lived in Chicago. She was the executive vice president of the Women's Division of the Realtors of America, retiring in 1974. She moved to Columbia in 1987 to be near her sister and family; she lived at Terrace Retirement Community for 18 years.
Survivors include a sister, Betty Tegerdine of Columbia; a brother, George M. Harris and wife Nancy of Longboat Key, Fla.; 13 nieces and nephews; many grandnieces and grandnephews; and many great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and one grandnephew.
