Walter D. Dow, 63, a retired lumber superintendent and resident of Woodacre for the past 10 years, died suddenly yesterday while visiting his daughter in San Anselmo. Doctors reported the cause of death as a heart attack.
Dow was visiting his daughter, Mrs. June Cardone on Los Angeles Blvd. when he was stricken.
In addition to Mrs. Cardone, the man is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Eva Dow; 3 sons, Carroll, Laurel, and Gail; another daughter, Mrs. Arleen Chadwick, and brothers and sisters and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Guy W. Jenness and Co., San Anselmo. Burial is scheduled to follow at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
