VOLL, Maria Josephine (nee Brett) 1927 – 2006
Passed away peacefully on December 3, 2006 at home, surrounded by family after a prayer service during which she thanked her husband Wilbert (Wib) for 57 wonderful years. Dear mother of Margaret Anne (Colin Westman), Cecile Davis (Jeff), Karen Voll-Ingram (James), Robert, Kathleen Kennedy (Sean) and Rosemary (Rick Cybulski). Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Andrew, Ryan, Sara-Margaret, Tara, Sina, Cassandra and Adam. Dearest sister of Kathy Pendergast (Frank) and special auntie to Patrick, Leanna, John and Sara. Predeceased by her dear sister Margaret Hallman and her parents John Brett and Sarah Ryan Quinn Brett. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 49 Blueridge Ave., Kitchener, on Wednesday, December 6 2006 at 11:00 am. In lieu of visitation the family invites all friends and relatives to celebrate Maria's life at a wake following the Mass. Any expressions of sympathy may be made in memoriam to St Francis of Assisi Church, of which Maria and Wib were founding parishioners.
