Pamela J. Snyder, 61, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Pamela graduated from Concordia HS and Ivy Tech College. She worked as a nurse with Rescare for over four years. She was a member of First Assembly of God and enjoyed helping people with special needs, by volunteering at the MDA Camp. Surviving are her husband, Michael E. Snyder of Fort Wayne, IN; children, Lee Bowser of Columbia City, IN; Teresa Dowell of Columbia City, IN, Jeffrey Bowser USAF Edwards AFB, CA; Jennifer (Shawn) Lenfestey of Granger, IN; brothers, Steve Waikel of Auburn, CA; Rick Steffey of Traverse City, MI; Brian Steffey of Hudson, IN; 4 grandchildren; step-daughter, Susie Snyder and step-son, Shane Snyder both of Ft. Wayne, IN. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Orland Dale and Lucille Waikel. Service is 2:00 pm, September 18, 2013 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior, with Rev. Ron Hawkins officiating. Calling also Tuesday, September 17, 2013 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Riverview Cemetery , Churubusco, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the MDA Camp.
