Obituary for Joseph Eugene Early

On Saturday, September 7, at age 92, formerly from Nanticoke, PA. Loving step-father of William Jarboe, Jr. and Mary Jarboe Dant. He is also survived by a host of adoring nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erva Early, his parents, two brothers, two sisters, a step-daughter, a goddaughter, a granddaughter, and a great granddaughter. Joe traveled the world with the US Navy. He retired after 30 years of service and made Hyattsville his home. He had become best known for being a loving family man, a fantastic dancer, and quick-witted poet and story teller. Friends may call at GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Saturday, September 14 where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. The American Legion Post #136 will host an Honors Ceremony at 12:00 Noon. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Legion Post 131, 4103 Lawrence St., Brentwood, MD.
