Funeral services for Beth Sadie Jones, age 94 of Unionville, will be held at 11:00 am Monday September 16, 2013 at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Bro. Willis Pope Officiating. Burial will follow in the Pressgrove Cemetery. Mrs. Jones passed from this life Saturday morning at the Christian Care Center. Mrs. Jones was of the Methodist faith. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home. A native of Franklin County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Rosa Woodall Flippo and the wife of the late Arthur Herbert Jones. She was preceded in death by sisters Bethany Jacobs and Geneva James, brothers Charlie Flippo, Leo Flippo, Eugene Flippo, and James Flippo. Mrs. Jones is survived by her children; Billy Fay (Arlene) Jones of Shelbyville, Janice (Kelly) Lambert of Chapel Hill, Jenell Barber of Unionville, brother; Belton Flippo of Shelbyville, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
