Mary Irene "Dollie" Gibson was born on 26 December 1869 in Lewistown, Fulton, Illinois to Robert Stuart Gibson and Mary Ann Wilhelm. She had one younger sister, Jessie C Gibson that was married to Frank Stoner in September of 1892 in Lancaster, Nebraska and they lived in Colorado.
Dollie married John Frederick Blackmar on 19 November 1884 in Knox, Illinois. Two children were born to this marriage Pearl Nellie, and Maurice Robert. Maurice was killed in the war in 1918 in France.
Dollie then married Solomon Modoc Wheeler in Los Angeles, California on 11 July 1905. They had one son, Wellington Clark Wheeler who was killed in 1936. Solomon died in August of 1928.
3rd marriage was to Rasmus Rasmussen on 27 March 1929 in Los Angeles, California.
Dollie is buried in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
