Mary was a wonderful gardener, she always enjoyed working in her yard, but if she was not out in her yard, she was out shopping and looking for the best bargain in town. And in the evening, you would find her in her favorite chair doing some sewing or some great craft that she had just discovered.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Harold) Tracy, Sue (Warren) Roll and Dorothy (David) Cameron; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mary is predeceased by her husband, Robert Bay and her son, Robert Bay, Jr.
A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Chico Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Mary Bay may be made to the Butte County Humane Society, in care of Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home. View and send condolences online at www.NBCFH.com. Published in Chico Enterprise-Record on October 12, 2010.
