LAWSON, HOWARD – beloved husband of Izella Lawson (nee Newport), dear father of Janice Klefas (Tom) of Memphis, TN, Elaine Miller (James) of Pleasant Plain, OH, Lynelle Caffee (Joe) of Patriot, IN and Kelly New (Mark) of Cincinnati, also survived by 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five nieces and two nephews, dear brother of Hazel Borgmann and the late Ethel Phillips, Argel and Galen Lawson. June 16, 1999, age 84 years. Awarded the Purple Heart in 1943, member D.A.V. Chapter #1 (Clifton). Visitation at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave., Westwood, Thursday 5-8 P.M. Funeral services 11 AM., Friday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors at Baltimore Pike Cemetery. Donations if desired, may be made to D.A.V. Chapter #1, 717 W.
