Glouster - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hayden, age 84, died at her home in Derthick Thursday afternoon following an illness of several years. She had been resident of this locality for approximately fifty years.
She is survived by two daughters and one son; Mrs. William White, Glouster Route 1; Mrs. Gus Faust, New Athens, and Albert Hayden, Glouster. She also leaves 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Her husband, John two daughters and two sons preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family home with Harvey Smith officiating. Burial will be made in the Maplewood Cemetery.
