ATLANTA - Janie Margreth Oetgen Rogers, 85, died Aug. 22 at Crawford Long Hospital.

The native of Atlanta was the daughter of Savannahians and was the widow of Herman M. Rogers.

SURVIVORS: a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kathy and J. Frank Smith; a sister-in-law, Mary B. Oetgen; a nephew, John D. Oetgen; two grandchildren, John Frank Smith III and his wife, Karen, and Scott Smith and his wife, Joni; and five great-grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Atlanta.

H.M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill Chapel.
