Funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2o'clock at the Methodist church at Concord for Mrs. Bertie C. Fetters. Rev. Mason Buckner, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the St. Joe cemetery. A heart condition resulted in her death Tuesday morning at the Community hospital in Hisksville, OH. She had only been ill for two weeks.
The deceased was born October 7, 1864 at Farmers Center, Defiance county, Ohio, and spent most of her life on a farm near Concord. She was a member of the Methodist church at Concord. In January, 1882, she was united in marriage to John D. Fetters who preceded her in death 16 years ago. A brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, L.G. Fetters of St.Joe and Jay E. Fetters of Spencerville: four grand children and seven great grandchildren.
The body will remain at the Gerig funeral home in Auburn until Thursday noon.
