Mrs. R. E. Albright Funeral Held Wed.
Final services for Mrs. Ethel Albright, 71, R. D. 2, Amherst, were held Wednesday afternoon of this week in the Emmerich-Hempel Funeral Home. Death on Monday in the Amherst Hospital followed an illness of 3 years.
Mrs. Albright was born in Humboldt, Iowa, and had lived in Brownhelm for the past 35 years. She was an X-ray technician for the Lorain County T-B and Health Association on their mobile unit for 11 years, retiring in 1961. She was a member of the Amherst congregational Church, a charger member of the Amherst Golden Age Club and a member of the Just-A-Mere Club of the Brownhelm Congregational Church.
Surviving are her husband, Rev. Ralph Albright, to whom she was married in 1916 after the couple met while attending the State University of Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Redman of Amherst, and one grandson, Marc Redman.
Rev. Glen Hathaway officiated at the services and burial was in Brownhelm Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to the Amherst Golden Age Club. --
