Irene M. Miller, 83, of Tamaqua, died Thursday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown.
She was the widow of Norman H. Miller, who died in 2010.
Born in New Ringgold on her family farm, she was the daughter of the late Edgar P. and Annie Zettlemoyer Bachman.
Prior to retiring, she was employed by the Atlas Powder Co., Reynolds, for 41 years.
She was a member of St. Peter Union Church, Mantzville.
Irene loved vegetable gardening, tending to her roses and flowers. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel K.; three brothers, Peter, Herbert and Edgar; and a sister, Verna Hamm.
She is survived by a son, Roy, Andreas, and his fiancée, Val Voige.
Interment in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Hartman Funeral Home Inc., 1791 West Penn Pike, Route 309, New Ringgold in charge of funeral arrangements.
