Madelon Stuermann was a long-time resident of Sacramento who was very close to her sister, Louise Bertha Stuermann (Buehler) in her life. She served her country in World War II in the Women's Army Corps.

In the latter part of her life, Madelon spent much time with her sister and dearly loved Louise's cat, "Lacey," apparently a popular topic of conversation between them.

Madelon was the "last leaf" of the Stuermann family tree of sisters to leave this earth. She was loved and made a difference in her world.
