Tom Thompson Jr. age 81 of Jacksboro passed away September 11, 2011 at the Methodist Medical Center. Tom enjoyed fishing, gardening and raising tomatoes and his family was his life.

Preceded in death by Parents: Thomas Bush and Elizabeth Dowell Thompson Sr. Granddaughter: Kristen Huckaby. Sister: Mildred Hatfield. Brother: Tyler and Jim Thompson.

Survived by Sons: Tommy Ray and wife Sharon Thompson of LaFollette and Gary Wayne Thompson both of Jacksboro. Daughters: Linda Kay and husband Ray Leamon of Knoxville. Sharon Ann McDonald of Benton City, Washington and Kimberly Gail Thompson of Lafollette. Sisters: Lucille Bean of Lafollette and Ruby Sharp of Smyrna, GA. 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Granddaughters. Several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday September 13th, 2011 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Passmore officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM before the funeral service. Interment will be on Wednesday September 14th, 2011 at 10 AM in Campbell Memorial Gardens.
