Mrs. Laura T. Dudley, a prominent citizen of Burnside, died Sunday afternoon at her home in that city after an illness of over a month. Mrs. Dudley was a devoted member of the Methodist Church and was always active in church and civic affairs. She was a woman of splendid character and was held in highest esteem by her many friends. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. C.L. Bohon. Interment was in the Burnside cemetery. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Ambrose Dudley of Somerset, Steele Dudley of Ashland, Russell Dudley of Burnside, Mrs. F.C. Sloan and Mrs. G.C. Nunn, both of Burnside.
