She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Cora Branch Carraway, her husband, John Henry Norman, a daughter, Nina Norman, and a son, Allen Norman.
She is survived by a son, Charles Norman and wife, Pauline, of Nebo; 3 grandchildren, Randy Norman, Louann Thomas and Rene Norman, and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Nebo officiated by Rev. Doug Worley. Burial in the Elk Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Banner Elk, NC.
