Raymond F. Champluvier, 79, of Laceyville, RR 1,(Doolittle Hill), died Tuesday afternoon March 2, 1993 at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock. Born at Doolittle Hill, Sept. 21, 1913, he was the son of the late Jackson and Carrie Carr Champluvier.

He was a former Braintrim Township supervisor. He was employed by the Bendix Corp., South Montrose, for 26 years, retiring in 1979. He was previously employed as a dairy farmer, and was also employed by the G.L.F., Laceyville.

He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Terrytown.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Wickless; twin brother, Royal; brother, William.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, the former Iva Seymour; brother, Dewayne, Dexter, Maine; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday from the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville, with the Rev. Jim Wentz, of the Faith Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Lacey Street Cemetery, Laceyville. Friends may call noon until time of services Friday. Memorial donations may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Terrytown, P.O. Box 729, Wyalusing, 18853; or to the Laceyville Ambulance Association, c/o Mable Clark, Laceyville, 18623.
