Emma J. Kolehouse, 77, Vincennes, passed away at 2:05 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1930, in Knox County, to Leo and Margaret (Messell) Tislow.
She was a homemaker and loved various outdoor activities such as fishing, mushroom hunting, and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed her pets.
Emma is survived by her children, Robin Peters and his wife, Myra, of Ashville, N.C., Jay Peters of Indianapolis, Martin and Vicki Peters of Vincennes, Cindy Peters Dreiman and her companion, Todd Hughes, of Vincennes, Mickey and Cindi Peters of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Todd Kolehouse of Vincennes.
Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Olive Jean Parrott of Indianapolis, Jessie Wilson of Rockville, Rita Ivers of Evansville, Margie Gunther of Evansville, Juanita Swain of Vincennes, Peggy Miller of Evansville, Sandy Adams of Vincennes, and Jerry Tislow of Hazleton. Her grandchildren include Andrea Norwood, Kristina Wein, Joel Peters, Courtni Peters, Erin McClain, Christy Flynn, Rob Dreiman, Marti Lee Peters, Dirk Bochner, Tasheena Kolehouse, Caitlin Peters, and Shelbi Peters. Great-grandchildren are Brittini Norwood, Nathan Norwood, Mallory Flynn, Dylan Flynn, Carson Dreiman, Keaton Rath, Adriel Gordon, Ethan Peters and Jeremiah Evans.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Betty Theriac, Tom Tislow, Mary Amelia Tislow, Richard Dale Tislow, Johnny Paul Tislow and William Joseph Tislow.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., with Pastor Sandy Ivers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
