He was born January 17, 1916 at St. Joe, a son of the late Christ and Catherine Werschem Fuhrmann. He was married on November 15, 1939 to the former Cecilia Schmitz at St. Joe. The couple farmed in the St. Joe area all of their married life.
Mr. Fuhrmann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe, and the Holy Name Society of the church.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe. The Rev. Joel Tueler, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
