Glenn Black 68 of El Dorado passed away September 11, 2013 at his home. He was born July 12, 1945 to Horace Black & Iberia Lockwood Black of Urbana.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and maternal grandparents Henry Lockwood and Virdy Lockwood McCormick.

Glen was a automobile mechanic his whole life working for various dealerships and most recently Risinger Spur Service Station. He was also a pastor and member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting fishing and trapping. He was a family man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren who referred to him simply as "Paw Paw".

He is survived by two sons; Keith(Lee) Black of Monett, Mo., Kevin (Kim) Black of Strong, three daughters; Karen(Paul)McChesney of El Dorado, Kellie(Tommy) Gerrald of Bossier City and Kathy(Ronnie) Huitt of Strong, grandchildren; Brett (Jennifer) Cogburn, Kristen Black, Jeremy Black, Evan Martindale, Ethan (Rebecca) Martindale, J.T. Black, Kelsie Molnaird, Chris Castillo, Lauren Castillo, Thomas Gerrald, Dustin Russell, Devin Russell and Jaisley Russell, great-grandchildren; Dawson Cogburn, Dakota Beth Cogburn, Jenson Black, Bentley Martindale, and Paris Martindale, three brothers; Jr Black of Hampton, Roy Black of Lawson and Steve Black of Strong, five sisters; Linnie Nash of Urbana, Eloise Calloway of Crossett, Brenda Clark of Crossett, Marilyn Hall of El Dorado and Pam Black of Urbana.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Robins and Rev. Luther Harris officiating with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
