Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 til 8 at the funeral home.
He was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church and a truck driver with Williams Brothers Trucking.
Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Kathy B. Evans of Eastman; daughter, Morgan Sanders (Benton) of Eastman; son, Eric Evans of Eastman; granddaughter, Raegan Sanders; sisters, Sherry Manus (Tommy) of Chauncey, Ga. and Shirley Hall (Harry) of Warner Robins, Ga.; brother, Toby Evans (Tricia) of Jefferson, Ga.; Parents-in-law, Wymon and Faye Barnett of Eastman.
