Pamela Moore Payne, 56, wife of Darrell Payne, Jr., died Monday, September 1, 2008.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Richard Watson and Mary Ellen Turner Moore.
Mrs. Payne was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two sons, Adam Gillespie, Shane Gillespie of Greer; a stepdaughter, Amanda Payne Chapman of Long County, Ga.; three brothers, Richard E. Moore, Allen D. Moore and Robert D. Moore; three sisters, Cheryl M. Door, Wanda M. Laughter and husband, Charles, Laura M. Arnold and her husband, Cedric, all of Greenville; and a grandson, Ethan Gillespie.
She was predeceased by a sister, Nora J. Smith.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be Friday, September 5, 2008 at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Coleman Memorial Cemetery, Travelers Rest.
The family will be at their respective homes.
