Hoenstine obituaries- HC09-page 54-handwritten date 11-5-51- Lawrence Burgoon Aged 97, oldest member of St. Augustine's church, St. Augustine died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Louis Helfrich of Dysart R.D. at 5 o'clock Saturday morning. He was born March 6, 1854, a son of William and Julia (Adams) Burgoon. His wife, the former Susan McGough, died in 1936. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Margaret O'Leary and Thomas, both of Patton R.D.; Mrs. Louis Helfrich and Harry, both of Dysart R.D.; George, Charles, and Clement, all of Ashville; Walter of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Mary Crockett of Baltimore, and Mrs. Helen Read of Washington, D.C. a son, Edward, preceded him in death. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, 31 great - grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was a retired farmer.
