RAMONA FORD, 78, departed this life on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013. She was previously employed at the VA Hospital, Fort Wayne State Develop mental Center and St. Joseph Hospital. In 1994, she retired from Catherine's Women Fashions. She is survived by her four sons, Curtis (Zena) Thompson, Dennis Tate, Rodney (Anissa) Tate, and Robert Ford Jr.; four daughters, Rita (Rev. Aston) Chambers, Amalva (Percy) Key, Regina (Gene) Myatt, and Felita Tate; three sisters, Sarah Mudd, Bettie Coleman and Martha G. Clancy; one aunt, Litha Taylor; 37 grandchildren; 50 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Robert Ford; two brothers, Hezekiah Reed and Isaiah Reed; three sisters, Frankie Lee Harris, May C. Beachem and Mary Julia Brooks. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, with calling one hour prior. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery
