She was born April 24, 1944, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Fred and Dot Custer. She attended Portsmouth High School.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Her family said she was always there for those who needed her.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Michael A. Downs; and her brother, Leonard Custer.
She was laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
