William Noah Sorrells, 75, farmer of the Mulberry community, died Sunday morning at his home after a long illness.

Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Ralston Chapel. The Rev. R. B. Kennedy and the Rev. J. B. Patterson officiated. Burial was in Mulberry Cemetery.

Mr. Sorrells was a native of Lincoln County. His parents were William and Elizabeth Scott Sorrells. He was a deacon on the Baptist Church.

His wife, Mrs. Ittie Young Sorrells, died in 1930.

Survivors include three daughters, Misses Stella and Helen Sorrells and Mrs. Herman Sullenger, all of Mulberryp; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Freeman, Petersburg; a half-brother, W. H. Sorrells, Shelbyville, Tennessee; three grandchildren.
