Kathy L. Coleman of Saginaw, Michigan, loving wife, sister, and aunt, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Age 60 years. Daughter of the late Vernard and Verna (Hall) Gaiser, Kathy was born April 18, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Carrollton High School in 1971. Kathy was employed at the Michigan State Police for over 30 years retiring on October 28, 2010. She was married to Donald L. Coleman on October 14, 2006. He survives her. Kathy was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Surviving besides her loving husband Donald are one sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and David Dogger, Saginaw; one niece, Kristin Dogger Starke and her husband Matthew, Saginaw; one nephew Craig Dogger, Omaha, Nebraska; and her loved cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicholas and Christopher Dogger, Jacob and Jack Starke, Elizabeth Dogger and Kate Starke. Kathy was not only blessed with the love of her family but also many dear friends with whom she spent many wonderful times. Honoring Kathy's wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will take place 12:00 noon Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 Court, Saginaw. Pastor James Krueger will officiate. A private entombment of her cremains will take place in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may call at the church where the family will be present from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Friends of the Animal Shelter of Saginaw County.
