Becky was a graduate of Ithaca High School Class of 1970. She loved Hawaii and lived there for three and a half years after graduating high school. Becky worked for Gratiot County for 35 years and 1 day, starting first at the jail in 1978 and then as a dispatcher for emergency services.
She loved to sing karaoke, reading - especially James Patterson, and going up to the family cabin in Harrison.
Becky is survived by her mother Delores "Dee" Cook of Ithaca; brother, Joe Cook of Ithaca; sister-in-law Cheryl Cook of Ithaca; nephews Nathan (Jessica) Cook of Louisiana, Ryan (Cody) Cook of Alabama, and Blake (Lonna) Cook of Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her father Gerald "Cookie" and brother Lynn.
Funeral services for Becky were Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca. Pastor Ried Martin officiated. A luncheon followed at the Elks Lodge in Alma.
