The family settled in Scituate, Plymouth Colony. Thomas married Sarah Hyland in Scituate on January 6, 1652. Sarah Hyland was born in Tenterden, Kent, England about 1629. Her parents are Thomas Hyland and Deborah Curtis, and she sailed to New England with them. Thomas and Sarah had seven children in Scituate between 1654 and 1670. Thomas and Sarah both died in November of 1688 in Scituate. There was only one burial ground in Scituate in 1688, the Men of Kent Cemetery. Thomas' father was buried there. There is no reason to believe that Thomas and Sarah are buried elsewhere. The earliest legible stone is from 1694.
