Michael was the son of Emitt Lamar and Elizabeth Joan (Woods) Stepp, and the Grandson of Reginald Frank and Edna Faye (Carey) Woods, and the Grandson of Bert and Effie (Boren) Stepp, and the Great Grandson of Thomas and Sarah (Jacobs) Stepp, and the Great Grandson of Adison and Sarah Jane (Wicker) Boren. Michael died at a Nursing Home at Warsaw Indiana, where he had been a patient for five and one-half years. Michael died of injuries suffered in a forty- foot fall from a railroad trestle north of Cicero when he was nine years old. Michael was only 14 years old when he died.
