Donna R. Fisher, 70, of Mayfield Avenue, Morgantown, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

She was born on Jan. 15, 1934, in Opekiska, a daughter of the late James Cornelius Faulkner and Hildred Lyon Faulkner Garland.

She attended the Harner Chapel United Methodist Church.

She graduated from Morgantown High School, and was a 40-year charter member of the Western Stars Square Dance Club. She was involved in the needlework arts of crocheting and cross-stitch, at which she was very talented.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis E. Fisher; a daughter and spouse, Kathy Faye and husband, Mark Pomeroy, of Columbia, S.C.; two grandchildren, Brandy and Jonathan Pomeroy, of Columbia, S.C.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Kramer; one brother, Thomas Faulkner; and an infant child, Brian Keith Fisher.

Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home on Saturday, March 13, 2004, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and on Sunday, March 14, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of funeral service at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery, on Route 73 South.
