James Kenneth Pickle, age 77, 1341 King College Road, Bristol,Tennessee died Saturday November 15,2003 in Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center.

He was a native of Burdine, Kentucky, son of the late Ray and Pearl Miller Pickle.

He was retired from the U. S. Military with over 22 years combined service in U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and U. S. Air Force. He attended Fairmount Presbyterian Church was a member of King Masonic Lodge. He was former co owner of Wooden Nickle Resturant, served on the Sullivan County Beer Board, was avid gardner and was active supporter of Bluff City and Sullivan East Sports programs.

Survivor's include his wife, Mildred Yvonne Mullins Pickle.

Daughters, Brenda Pickle, Bristol,TN and Sherry Pickle Malone, Bluff City,TN.
Sisters, Elaine Laughrey, Bristol, TN and Rosenberg, TX, Phyllis Boone, Winston Salem, N.C. and Linda Lou Draper, Kingsport, TN.
Brother, Bruce Picklle, Bristol, TN.
Grandchildren, Michelle Stallard, James Wilcox, Natasha Wilcox, Sheena Malone and Shauni Malone.
Great Grandsons, Devon Wilcox and Jeromy Stallard.

Funeral services will be conducted 8 P.M. Tuesday in Fairmount Presbyterian Church with Jeff Seeger and James Wilcox officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 A.M. Wednesday in Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers, David Draper, James Boone, Ronnie Arnold, Kevin Draper, Scotty Laughrey and Larry Miller. Honorary Pallbearers, Donald Laughrey, Wiley Webb, Fred Vannoy. Military Honors will be conducted by Highlands Fellowship Veterans Honor Color Guard and Mark Blackburn.

A procession will leave the Weaver Funeral Home Wednesday at 10:45 A.M. going to the cemetery, escorted by a Son In Law, Sgt. David Malone.
