Educated in the Harrisburg School District, he was employed by Alston Power, Inc. He was a member of Turner Memorial Baptist Church and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who loved dogs, grilling, music and Corvettes.
He was predeceased by his father, Eddie Singleton Sr.; and stepfather, Mr. Patsy Wright. Surviving are his mother, Mary Emma Williams Wright; longtime companion, Doris Sheppard; his children, Jeffrey Jr. and Tamia Singleton; stepchildren, Richard and Kari Sheppard and Rayna Lemelle; brothers, Marion Roach, Eddie Jr. and Roger Singleton, all of Harrisburg, and Mr. Patsy Wright of FL; sisters, Rose M. and Patricia Singleton, Sherry Chandler, Bernadine Woodley and Rachelle McRae, all of Harrisburg; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Singleton's life will be celebrated at 12 Noon, Wednesday, September 11th, at Wallace Funeral Directors with viewing from 10 AM to 12 Noon and interment at William Howard Day Cemetery. wallacefd.com
