WAYNE EDWARD ALBRIGHT, SR,, 71, of 110 East North Avenue, Hagerstown, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown. Born Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1937, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Harry Alfred Albright and the late Mary Elizabeth Johnson Albright.

He was employed with Hagerstown Junior College, retiring after 26 years of service. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Hagerstown and the Eagles Club 694.

He is survived by three daughters, Debbi Albright of Waynesboro, Pa., Kristin Harsh of Hagerstown and Dawn Smith of Keedysville, Md.; two sons, Wayne E. Albright Jr. of Hagerstown and Jaime Albright of Grantsville, Md.; one sister, Virginia Keller of Smithsburg; loving friend and companion, Betty Daley of Hagerstown; sister-in-law, Kay Albright of Waynesboro; six grandchildren, Jenessa Giles of Williamsport, Ashley Albright of Hagerstown, Britni Harsh of Hagerstown, Heidi Albright of Williamsport, Hunter Albright of West Virginia and infant grandson Gavin Edward Albright of Grantsville, Md.; and two great-grandchildren, Kaleb Albright of Hagerstown and Serenity Thomas of Hagerstown.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Ralls, and a brother, William Albright.

Services were held at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home.; interment was in the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
