Mrs. Martha Downs Talley, 88, of 3808 Miramar, a Dallas resident for 60 years, died here Sunday.
Mrs. Talley, a native of Marlin, Fallas County, was a member of the Dallas Garden Club, Colonial Dames, Southern Memorial Association and Dallas Historical Society, and a charter member of the Dallas Women's Club.
Survivors: Three daughters, Mrs. Charles Spence of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. William P. Devereux of Dallas, and Dr. Carolynn Anderson of New Orleans, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Carlos Coon and Mrs. G. L. Ramsey of San Antonio, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Highland Park United Methodist Church's Cox Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
