The examination into the cause of death of Mrs. Christina Ham of Summit, who was found recently burned with her house, was concluded yesterday. At the close of the investigation the jury returned a verdict that Mrs. Ham had been murdered by some person unknown to them and her house undoubtedly fired for the purpose of concealing the crime. The officers in charge of the case have made a thoro and expansive investigation and it is thought that the evidence elicited will lead to the discovery of the perpetrator. The fact that Mrs. Ham's wallet containing money was found in the burned clothing taken from her person leads to the theory that the murder was not committed for the purpose of obtaining money.
