Mark Ellis Grant, 38, of Baden, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in his home.

Born Jan. 4, 1975, in Rochester, he is survived by his father and stepmother, Dennis C. Grant and Judy L. Ebbersberger Grant, Rochester Township and also survived by his mother and stepfather, Lois R. Walker Smith and her husband, Victor 'Bill' Smith, New Sewickley Township. An employee of Heritage Valley Sewickley, he was a member of Oak Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zelienople, the Rochester Turners and was a former police officer with the Baden and Conway departments.

He is survived by his wife, Haley D. Morgan Grant; one daughter, Alyssa Nicole Grant, Cedar Rapids, IA; one son, Jordan Ellis Grant, Monaca; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Tammie Sue Kemp, Rochester and Trisha J. Lawless and her husband, Mark, Mars, PA; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Paul Campisi, Aliquippa; Darren P. and Tammy Smith, New Brighton, Sgt. First Class Jeffrey F. Grant, Clarksville, TN, and Matthew J. Grant, Ambridge; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams Street, Rochester, and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Oak Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Nathaniel Christman.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

The family wishes memorial contributions be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Alyssa and Jordan Trust Fund, c/o the ESB Bank, 800 Third Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066.
