Wilma Dean Price, age 78, of Springfield, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 surrounded by her family.
She was born January 9, 1935, in Dora, Missouri. She was the daughter of Henry and Carrie (Shipley) Freeman. She attended Central High School in Springfield. On February 7, 1955, she and Jimmy L. Price were united in marriage. Wilma loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She spent countless hours working at Ruth's Flower Shop in Springfield. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: two children: Melissa Wilke and husband David: son, Jimmy Dean Price and wife Angie; two grandchildren, Debra Price, and James Price and wife Lindsey; one great-granddaughter, Vivian Price; two step-grandchildren, Matt Wilke and wife Melanie, and Shannon Bibby; five step-great-grandchildren: Ian, Jesse, Gillian, Isaiah, and Levi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy L. Price; daughter, Deborah Price: and her siblings and parents.
Burial in White Chapel Cemetery.
